Type of project
BEinCPPS – Business Experiments in Cyber-Physical Production Systems (Grant Agreement N. 680633) – aims to integrate and evaluate an IoT based machine-factory-cloud service platform in an industrial context. Initially, this will be evaluated within five selected industrial demonstrator sites and then afterwards extensively in all European regions, with the goal to improve the adoption of CPPS throughout Europe.
The full adoption by European SMEs of CPPS and their related service platforms and innovative business models will contribute to the efforts that European Members are dedicating to achieve the ambitious target to increase the contribution to their own GDPs from Manufacturing & Services by 2020.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 680633.
