From 1st to 2nd June, Berlin hosted the Europe’s largest Internet of Things (IoT) event, with more than 4,000 attendees representing the entire IoT ecosystem. The event program comprised six conference tracks with more than 200 industry leading speakers that discussed their real-life use-cases of IoT/M2M technology and solutions.
Our laboratory has taken part in the IoT Tech Expo of Berlin, with our colleague Christian Mastrodonato, chief technologist in the Workplace Hub Group of Konica Minolta, which participated in the panel about “Predictive Maintenance for transforming field services and asset management”. Chaired by Knud Lasse Lueth, Managing Director at IoT Analytics, the other panellists were Sergey Kurilov, Development Director of ROTEC, and Christine Billaud, Director Business Technology – Connected Solutions at Volvo.
About Konica Minolta solutions for predictive maintenance, Christian has described our Predictive Maintenance project that makes predictions of failures for a fleet of Multi Functional Printers on the basis of a set of models and an approach that has been recently described by our colleague Wojciech Indyik in the Machine Learning Prague 2017.
